James Silva, creator of the indie hits “The Dishwasher” and “I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1N IT!!!!” is hard at work at his next project. In opposition to some speculation, his next game will not be another sequel for the Dishwasher series. Instead, he’s coming up with and original game called Charlie Murder.
As was Dishwasher, Charlie Murder will be a brutal beat’em up. However, it will feature four-player gameplay and will be centered around a revolutionary punk rock band that uses chaotic guitar riffs and deadly drum solos to smash anyone in their way. It promises to hold up to Silva’s unique art style and impressive soundtracks, with plenty of mindless mayhem just like the Dishwasher series. It is scheduled to be released this year, so be on the lookout.
(By the way, don’t be disappointed Dishwasher fans. It appears that there will be a third Dishwasher game in the works soon enough!)
