If you were to ask me, what was one movie that defines the 80s? I would definitely have to screech at the top of my lungs "Big Trouble in Little China". Without a neon tanked top doubt John Carpenter, the director of this gem, managed to create a true gender bending masterpiece with dabs of action, comedy, horror, old school martial arts, romance, and neo-noir. Furthermore, if for some industrial reason, you don't like this movies fun cheesiness then you will for sure fall in love with its sophisticated style and art direction. This movie is a definite watch due to its playfulness, special effects, and finally because it invented a extremely iconic character.
Still not convinced? Lets go through it again....
